Pharaoh Overlord

Uno dei pochissimi album dell'ultimo decennio che possa fregiarsi di una qualche originalità. Le tracce sono caratterizzate da una ripetitività, sottolineata dall'uso ossessivo del delay, che assumono un carattere molto personale e, pertanto, degne della massima considerazione. La psychedelia ottenuta attraverso continui pattern circolari (non a caso) ricordando qualcosa dei primi Fluidage.

Insieme al loro secondo album, certamente il migliore delle realizzazioni dei Pharaoh Overlord.

A great CD of Finns who include among their ranks Jussi Lehtisalo of Circle. Essentially a jam psychedelic obtained by joint a delayed guitar and a soft rhythm section - as such - has distanced itself from any label stoner so far attributed to three boys of Pori. One of the few albums of the last decade that can boast of some originality. The tracks are characterized by a repetitive, obsessive emphasized by the use of delay, taking a very personal character, and therefore worthy of the utmost consideration. The psychedelia obtained through continuous circular pattern (no coincidence). They remember something from the first album of the swedish Fluidage.

Together with their second album, certainly the best achievements of Pharaoh Overlord.
